There are times when you don’t have enough Z travel, a long enough tool or you may not have the right thickness of material so the slicing feature can come in very handy.
This thing looks great. I remember making it, and taking these pictures. In fact, it’s hanging in my tree as I type this. Unfortunately I did not use the slicing feature. It was a simple profile vector, with a .75” inward offset vector that creates the hollow cavity.
