Message from the President
Our toy making effort are in high demand. Two more charitable organizations have requested toy donations from the Inland Woodworkers. Word is getting out there about this great club and the wonderful toys they make for the kids. One of the organizations is helping us with grant opportunities and is lending the talents of an experienced grant writer. Needless to say, your efforts making toys for these kids that might not have anything for Christmas is greatly appreciated and so needed. You all should be deeply warmed with the wonderful things folks say about your talents and work you do making toys. I ask that you keep pushing forward. Thank you.
As our November 16th toy distribution comes ever closer, I’ll be asking for the toys from those of you not planning to attend the distribution event but are making toys.
I have secured a booth to sell products at the “Trunk or Treat” event at Flabob Airport 12 OCT. The booths are $100 for a 10×10. Bring your own tables/chairs/canopy. I should have more details at the next
meeting.
Hope to see you at the September meeting
