Message from the President
Hello everyone!
I am pleased to announce that we are now officially a 501(C)(3) non-profit business. That’s very exciting since we can now pursue funding for our community workshop and toy-making projects tax free. We started applying for grants to build the community workshop in earnest. We don’t know how long this process will take however we will keep you informed as milestones are reached.
We will be working on restoring a veteran’s float for the Jurupa Valley Adopt-a-Family Santa Express and making a new one for the club. One of our members will be spearheading these projects and there will be ample opportunity for you to get involved. Email: Board@inlandwoodworkers.org if you would like to help. We are planning to tow the http://www.JVAdoptafamily.org float in the Jurupa Valley Veteran’s Celebration and Parade on 9 November 2024. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Toy making is in full swing and that’s great! I am so proud to be your club’s president working with such fine folks giving of themselves for the children of our communities. Your toy making ideas and talents never ceases to amaze at our meetings. They are so fun, and the kids love them. Great job and keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing you all and working with you. See you at the next meeting.
