On Saturday, July 27th, Jurupa Valley Adopt-A-Family, in collaboration with Mayor Guillermo “Willy” Silva and Councilwoman Leslie Altamirano, conducted its Christmas in July event, and the Inland Woodworkers were there in full support. The event was held at the Vernola Park in Jurupa Valley, and was well attended by hundreds of residents.
The Inland Woodworkers brought 500 toys to be given to the children. Within the first few hours, the club had distributed more than 300 toys!
Thanks to IW members who supported the booth. From left to right: club President Mike Trejo, club Secretary Michael Miller, Ernie Gonzalez, Ray Gonzales, and club Vice-President Rick Reimer.
Joining the IW members was Jurupa Valley Mayor Guillermo “Willy” Silva.
Also stopping by for a visit was Mayor Pro-Tem Brian Berkson.
